LONDON, May 9---Lord Pirrie has purchased Witley Court, near Hazelmere, one of the finest estates in England. It formerly belonged to Whitaker Wright, who committed suicide in 1904 after he had been convicted of embezzlement.
The price paid by Lord Pirrie was $1,000,000. It is stated that Wright spent $3,500,000 on the property.
