The following honours were conferred by the King on the occasion of the opening of the Northern Parliament:---

PIRRIE, THE RIGHT HON. BARON, K.P., LL.D., D.L., Ormiston, Strandtown, Belfast.---Valuable services to the Government in connexion with ship construction during the war; charitable work in connexion with the Royal Victoria and other hospitals.
