The LORD CHANCELLOR took his seat on the Woolsack at a quarter to 4 o'clock.

LORD PIRRIE

VISCOUNT PIRRIE was introduced and took the oath and subscribed the roll on his elavation to the rank of Viscount.  The sponsors were VISCOUNT SANDHURST and VISCOUNT DEVONPORT.
