HENRY BLANK

Henry Blank of 138 Ridgewood Avenue died last Thursday at his home after a short illness. He was 78.
Board chairman of Henry Blank Co., Newark jewelry manufacturing concern, Mr. Blank was born in Providence, R.I. He lived in Philadelphia for 17 years before going to Newark as a young man. He had lived in Glen Ridge 42 years. He was a member of Kane Lodge No. 55, F.& A.M. of Newark.
Mr. Blank leaves four sons, Henry M. of Short Hills, Philip E. and Carl P., both of Montclair, and Ralph E. of Summit; a daughter, Mrs. Charles F. Badger of Cynwyd, Pa.; a sister, Mrs. William C. F. Speckin of Chicago and eight grandchildren. His wife, Phoebe Miller Blank, died in 1942.
Funeral services were held at the home Saturday morning with Rev. Charles R. Stires, rector of Christ Episcopal Church officiating. Burial was in Arlington Cemetery, Drexel Hill, Pa.
