PRESENTATION OF MEDALS FOR GALLANTRY

BUCKINGHAM PALACE, DEC. 16---The King this morning decorated the following with medals for acts of gallantry on land and at sea as stated against their names:---

BOARD OF TRADE MEDALS

Lieutenant David Blair, R.N.R., first officer of the steamship Majestic, of Liverpool, silver medal, for gallantry in jumping overboard in the North Atlantic Ocean on May 6, 1913, in an attempt to rescue a trimmer, who was, however, picked up by a boat which, under Mr. Blair's direction, reached the man first.
