How many Lusitania survivors have published thier accounts of the sinking in book or pamplet form?
The most famous being Charles lauriat's amazingly underrated book- but I believe there were 2 other survivors who published as well.
Who were they?

Hi Tom
Love the Normandie site which Jim Kalafus sent me. Right now, only two, Audrey ( Pearl ) Lawson-Johnston and Barbara ( Anderson ) McDermott. Most of the children have been accounted for. There's perhaps only one or two possibilities so who knows. If you want to read Audrey's story- visit

Thanks for the positive feedback, it's always good to hear. Sorry it took me so long to answer. The links were also good - I had seen the Barbara Anderson one before. Hope she gets her spoon someday.
Do you come to this topic from the survivors' side of things, or are you familiar with the more technical aspects of the ship as well? |

The oft used Lady Mackworth account is a good one. When she, and others, wrote a book about her late father- she used almost the same account. I suspect, when asked about the Lusitania, she gave them a carbon copy of that account.
