Hello, Jeffrey--- Something's amiss here, either the ship name or the date, since Lusitania was out of commission for almost the first eight months of 1913. After an eastbound trip which began on Christmas Eve 1912, she didn't sail again until 23 August, when she left Liverpool after having her turbines repaired. Sources: The New York Times, various dates from December 1912 to August 1913; Morton Allan Directory. MAB http://groups.yahoo.com/group/OceanicSteamNavigationCo/ http://www.greatships.net/

I am reading off of his GREEN CARD those details. I guess I have hit a dead end. His name does not even come up anywhere on Ellis Island site or on the Internet. |
