Did the Titanic have any fire extinguishers aboard?
Did it have an automatic sprinkler system?
Reason for the question
I found that the first patent for a fire extinguisher was 1863
And the first patent for an automatic sprinkler system was 1872
Concerning the safety of the ship
I should have thought it would have had one of these items aboard |
