The following is a basic list of the Engineering Officers who were aboard Titanic and a list of the ships that they served before joining Titanic. Eventually there may be a link to the ET biography page with more detailed information containing there careers.
Chief Engineer: Joseph Bell. The Engineer in Charge of all of the other Engineers.
Second Engineers: W. Farquharsen, Norman Harrison, of the Oceanic and the Adriatic.
Assistant Second Engineers: H.G. Harvey, Wilson Bertie and James Heslketh all of the Olympic.
Third Engineer: G.F. Hosking and E.C Dodd both of the Olympic.
Assistant Third Engineer: F. Coy, and C. Hodge of the Olympic and Teutonic.
Fourth Engineer: Lenoard Hodgkinson of the
Olympic.
Assistant Fourth Engineers including Juniors: H.R Dyer, Thomas Kemper, J.M. Smith and A. Ward.
Thomas off of the S.Y. White Ladye Smith off of the Majestic Dyber, Kemper and Ward off of the Olympic.
Fifth Engineer:F.A. Parsons off the
Olympic.
Assistant Fifth Engineers including Juniors:W. Mackie and Robert Millar both off of the
Olympic.
Sixth Engineers: William Moyes and William McReynolds one of which is off of the Oceanic and the other ship is unknown.
These are only Senior Engineers and depending upon demand a list of other posts may be written at a later date. |
