MSNBC has the story at http://msnbc.msn.com/id/14062541/ and some photos at http://msnbc.msn.com/id/14063675/displaymode/1176/rstry/14062541/ The wreck lies at 280 feet so it can be accessed (Barely) either by well equipped tech divers or submersibles. >>I thought Hitler never believed in Aircraft carriers technolghy<< The German Navy at least did appriciate the value of airpower at sea, which is why the Graf Zeppelin was attempted in the first place. They even had work underway to develop navalized versions of some of their priciple warplanes such as the Ju-88. You can read a bit more about them at http://www.hazegray.org/navhist/carriers/germany.htm#graf-cl Even if the Germans had been able to get both ships into service, it's extremely unlikely that they would have made any real difference. Britain and the USA had a lot more operating experience and the benefits of lessons learned over 30 years which the Germans didn't have. Cordially, Michael H. Standart Equal Opportunity Curmudgeon
