STENA BRITANNICA makes inaugural call at ferry port after extension

Harwich International Port has today [12th March 2007] welcomed the inaugural call of the newly-extended STENA BRITANNICA, now one of the world’s largest RoPax vessels.

The modern, passenger-friendly ship was lengthened in the wake of the decommissioning of the HSS Stena Discovery, to ensure that sufficient capacity remains available on the ever-popular Harwich – Hook of Holland route. The Stena Hollandica is due to undergo a similar extension programme, and will rejoin the Stena Britannica on the route in May.
