BELFAST, JAN. 5
Messrs. Harland and Wolff launched from the Queen's Island this morning
a large twin-screw steamer named the Delphic, the latest addition in the
fleet of the White Star line. The new vessel is 475ft. long by 55ft.
beam, her gross tonnage being about 9,000. She will be employed in the
New Zealand trade.
