South Wales to Bristol and then down the Bristol Channel to Ilfracombe (and sometimes on to Lundy Island) used to be a popular route for steamer excursions - I once had a trip to Lundy aboard the PS Bristol Queen, while the last ship I saw on this service was the MV Balmoral which (I think) will be running a Titanic charter in April 2012 (?)
