I do apologise if this has aleardy been covered, but could someone please tell me the fates of the Ireland and America, the tenders from Queenstown that served the Titanic on her first and only voyage. Any information would be great.

I have information on AMERICA.
Built by J P Rennoldson & Son, South Shields; 1891, 262gt, 132 feet.

Bought by Anchor Line in 1928 for use on Lough Foyle and renamed SEAMORE.
Returned to the River Clyde during WW2 to attend the many ships using the River. This service tired her out.
The the only available picture of her as Seamore shows her at the Breakers Yard in Port Glasgow in April 1946.
Behind her, the Manx steamer Snaefell - Built in 1907 she was also laid up in 1946 to await demolition.
