A passenger who was aboard the Princess Cruise Ship named Golden Princess wrote in the messages page of the Liners List website that he was recently aboard the Golden Princess during a transatlantic crossing from Southampton to New York.In the casino of the Golden Princess he saw that there is 6 Titanic slot machines. The top panel of each machine featured a large picture of the Ship Titanic and also of Captain Smith. This passenger was surprised that these Titanic slot machines were even brought aboard a passenger ship and he did mention that the Golden Princess did sail in the vicinity of the disaster site during the crossing and he wonders if it is 3 icebergs or 3 lifeboats for the big payout. He also thinks that these Titanic slot machines are very cheesey at best.I myself can't decide if these Titanic slot machines are or are not in bad taste.Anyone else here with an opinion on these Titanic slot machines. Sincerely,Jerry Nuovo

Whether they can be called in bad taste is a highly subjective matter of opinion. In my higly subjective opinion, they're in bad taste.

But I won't lose sleep over it.

Well, a live sighting of the Golden Princess last year, by Shelley Dziedzic, set off a hilarious thread about ugly ships in this very same area. I think the tacky slot machine may be a perfect choice for that ship

I've just booked a holiday on the Golden Princess at Virgin (http://www.virginholidayscruises.co.uk/princess-cruises/)

I will look out for these Slot Machines and take a picture of them.
