This time 55 people are missing after a 63-ton ferry, the Piary, sank when heavy seas punched a hole in it's side 60 miles from it's destination of Brookes Point on Palawan Island. Of the 68 passengers and 7 crew on board, 20 survivors were picked up by a Panamanian-registered cargo ship. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/asia-pacific/3342557.stm This figure adds to the hundreds already dead in mudslides across the Phillipines. All too typical for the area I'm afraid. I wouldn't get on a ferry in that part of the world for all the gold in Fort Knox! Cordially, Michael H. Standart Equal Opportunity Curmudgeon
