Thought this was interesting. This is a photo taken on 24th June 2005 of lightning striking the Cherbourg-Poole ferry. I bet that woke up a few of the passengers! We have had our fair share of thunderstorms recently, "dahn sowf". It's always darkest just before it goes pitch black.

Wow, that's an amazing photograph! I'd hate to be on that ferry when the lightning struck. Just out of curiosity was there any damage to the ferry after the lightning strike? |

No idea Zachary, although if there had have been damage, I'm pretty certain it would have made the news. So I'd guess not. It's always darkest just before it goes pitch black.
