MRS. WALTER DOUGLAS DIED IN CALIFORNIA

Mrs. Walter D. Douglas died Saturday afternoon at her home in Pasadena, Calif., according to word received by Mrs. George B. Dutton, 2224 Country Club Parkway SE. Funeral services will be announced later.
Mrs. Douglas was the former Mahala Dutton and lived in the Cedar Rapids area for years.
Survivors are a son, Bruce Douglas, San Francisco; a grandson, Walter, Los Angeles; a nephew, George B. Dutton, Cedar Rapids, and three nieces, Mrs. Howard Hall, Brucemore, Cedar Rapids; Mrs. Gail Burck, Jacksonville, Fla.; and Mrs. Gregory Williamson, Washington, D.C.
A sister, Mrs. George B. Goodell, and two brothers, George B. Dutton, Sr., and William H. Dutton, preceded her in death. Her husband went down with the Titanic, April 14, 1912.
