DR. DODGE'S FATE IS STILL IN DOUBT

San Francisco Examiner

Page 16, column 8

"Fairly satisfactory," was the announcement made yesterday by Dr. John Gallwey touching the condition of Dr. Washington Dodge, who attempted last Saturday to end his life by shooting himself in the head.
Dr. Gallwey said that he had just held a consultation with Drs. Walter Shaller and Theodore Rethers. That the opinion reached was that Dr. Dodge's condition was as good as could be expected. It would be several days, said Dr. Gallwey, before the surgeons would be able to say what the outcome of the case would be.
