Private funeral services were held for Mrs. Ethel Flora Fortune Gordon, wife of the late Crawford Gordon, a former manager of a Toronto branch of the Canadian Bank of Commerce.
Mrs. Gordon died yesterday.
Born and educated in Winnipeg, she lived in Toronto more than 20 years, coming here from London, England; Kingston, Jamaica; and Ottawa.
She was an active worker for the troops during World War II, and a member of Deer Park United Church. Her husband died in 1957.
She leaves two sons, Crawford and William; three sisters, Mrs. Mabel Driscoll of Vancouver, Mrs. Clare Hutton of Sudbury, Mrs. Alice Allan of Halifax and six grandchildren.
