ROME, March 22---J. Pierpont Morgan is delighted with his visit to Egypt
and much pleased with the view of his excavations, conducted by Prof.
Leithgow, which has given extraordinary results.
A whole temple has been found, and broken columns, capitals, arches, and
friezes have been discovered, which are being put in place, besides some
extraordinary beautiful painted decorations, reviving the life, habits,
and costumes of the most interesting Egyptian epoch.
