Mr William ANGLE & Mrs Florence Agnes ANGLE nee HUGHES

Researching Mr William ANGLE I have been able to trace the following information.

William Angle prior to his fatal journey aboard the Titanic was no stranger to the sea and the long hard crossing from England to New York. I have been able to establish that William had made this journey twice before, once as a young man with three other work mates in 1904 and again in 1906 with his new bride Florence.

The trip across in 1906 the passengers list gives a well documented details on the appearance of both William & Florence.  William had married a woman five years older then himself and Florence appears to have been a woman who was taller then the average female of her day being five foot ten inches in height. They are both described as having brown hair, Florence had grey eyes and William was six foot tall with blue eyes they no doubt would have been considered to be a handsom couple. Both appear to have been educated as they could  read and write.  William and Florence were given a clean bill of good health on leaving the ship.

First Trip 1904

William is recorded on the ships list for the 'BALTIC' sailing from Liverpool England on 16th November 1904 and arriving in New York on 24th November 1904.
