New Bedford, April 17- Frank D. Millett, the artist, who was aboard the Titanic and whose name does not appear on the list of survivors, had been engaged to paint the mural decorations for the new public library in New Bedford.
Mr. Millett had notified the library trustees that his sketches were complete and that he would bring them back from Europe on the Titanic. The artist formerly lived in Mattapoisett, a few miles from New Bedford.
