    Does anyone have information on where Edward Wilding went after he left H&W? When was his death?

    Wilding was 'stood down due to ill health' in 1923. He set himself up as a Consulting Naval Architect. He died on December 18th 1939.

    In 1920 he was made a Commander of the Order of the British Empire, which is an award a bit below a knighthood.

    i have recently found a letter from an edward wilding in belfast dated march 25 1909. can anyone verify were he lived at this time.
