GILT-EDGED STOCKS AFFECTED BY DISASTER

London, April 16.---The disaster to the Titanic caused a slight weakness to-day in glit edged securities on the stock exchange on sales by underwriters. The International Mercantile Marine shares were offered at $2 below parity at 21 3-4.
