LONDON, Jan. 7---At a meeting to-day of the Directors of the Grand Trunk
Railway Company of Canada, Charles M. Hays was elected President.
At the same time Alfred W. Smithers was chosen Chairman of the Board of
Directors, and Sir Henry M. Mather-Jackson Vice Chairman.
