INSURANCE DIRECTOR'S RETIREMENT
The Times
Mr. J. Bruce Ismay, who has for many years been a director of the Liverpool and London and Globe Insurance Company and also for some time past a director of the Royal Insurance Company and of the Thames and Mersey Marine Insurance Company, has expressed a desire to retire from each of the boards, owing to the days of the board meetings not fitting in with his other Liverpool engagements.
The official
announcement is made that "Mr. Ismay's resignation has been
received with very great regret by his fellow directors, and in
accepting it they have expressed their great appreciation of the
services he has rendered during his association with them."
