LONDON, May 14---Exact information was obtained to-day as to J. Bruce Ismay's intentions in founding a Titanic memorial, as reported in The Liverpool Journal of Commerce.

Mr. Ismay made an offer to the Lord Mayor of Liverpool to contribute $50,000, and Mrs. Ismay $5,000, to a fund to provide pensions for the widows of those who lost their lives at sea while in active duty on British mercantile vessels.

The widows of the crew of the Titanic are eligible. No pension is to exceed $100 a year.
