1881 Census, Weymouth, Dorset

Thursday 31 March 1881

Reginald George Smith was born in Weymouth, Dorset in the summer of 1879.

At the time of the 1881 census he was living with his mother and brothers at 5 Salisbury Terrace, Melcombe Regis, a suburb of Weymouth.

His mother was Mary A. Smith (born Plymouth, Devon 1847) and his elder brothers (all born at Weymouth) were -

Walter James (7)
Francis Henry (5)
William J. (4)

His eldest brother, Walter was to become a Roman Catholic priest and subsequently used the forename of Aloysius.
