LONDON, Jan. 5---When the Olympic's passengers reached London to-night
some surprise was occasioned by learning that J. Pierpont Morgan had
been aboard, as news of his departure did not reach here.
Mr. Morgan did not get off at Plymouth. He was enjoying breakfast when
the passengers disembarked. It is understood that he left the vessel at
Cherbourg, journeying to Paris on his way to Egypt.
According to passengers he appeared in good health, frequently being
seen on deck, as the voyage was exceptionally smooth for this time of
year.
