NICE, France, April 2---Lawrence Vail of New York and Kay Boyle of Cincinnati, American authors, were married at City Hall here today. Mr. Vail gave his age as 41 and his bride as 29.

For both it was the second marriage. Miss Peggy Guggenheim, Mr. Vail’s first wife acted as matron of honor. Frank Scully, literary secretary of the late Frank Harris, was best man.

The wedding trip will be spent at Cagnes-sur-Mer.
