Letter from her Majesty the Queen

The Late Mr. Forbes Julian.-Mrs. Forbes Julian has been honoured by receiving a gracious letter of sympathy from her Majesty the Queen from Buckingham Palace. It reads: “Her Majesty feels very much for you in the irreparable loss which you have sustained. It must, however, be some consolation to you and your relatives to feel that your husband was amongst those who displayed such great heroism in sacrificing their lives to secure the safety of the women and children.”
