MANILA HONORS BUTT
New York Times
---
MANILA, May 1---The Rt. Rev. C. H. Brent, Protestant Episcopal Bishop of the Philippines, to-day dedicated memorial windows in the American Cathedral here to Major Archibald W. Butt, formerly aid to President Taft, who lost his life in the Titanic disaster, and to Dr. Paul G. Freer, who died in the Philippines while head of the United States Government Scientific Bureau here.
The Butt memorial window, typifying courage, was paid for by subscriptions of Major Butt’s army friends. The Freer window typifies science.
