The saddest of many sad stories

Daily Sketch

One of the saddest of the many sad stories which has to be told concerns the fate of Mr. Daniel W. Marvin, a young American who was returning with his wife from the honeymoon trip spent in Europe. Mr Marvin is missing, but Mrs Marvin is reported to have been saved.

The husband was only 19 years of age, and the wife is a year younger. The Marvins are well known in New York society, and the young man himself was a friend of Edison.
