Memorial Service Programme

The Central North Chicago Ministerial Association at the Belden Avenue Baptist Church, Chicago.

"The Offering" "The Nana Harper Fund to maintain and educate Nana, the six year old daughter of Rev. John Harper, pastor, Walworth Road Church, London. Mr. Harper spent several weeks at the Moody Church last autumn and his devotion to the Lord Jesus Christ, his unstinting self-sacrifice, his power in winning men to God endeared him to those who heard him. He was returning to continue for a time his ministry here and with his motherless girl and his niece was a second cabin passenger on the Titanic. When the alarm was sounded he kissed the child good-by and placed her in the life-boat and went back to die as a man and a Christian. He left no property so far as known. Hence the Nana Harper fund, which will be placed in the basket and will include all that is not in envelopes."
