Mrs. Williston D. Lockwood of 40 East Sixty-second Street has announced the engagement of her granddaughter, Miss Evelyn Bayne, to Henry M. Blank, son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Blank of Glen Ridge, N. J. Miss Bayne is the younger daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. E. Norman Bayne. Her mother was Miss Bertha Day Lockwood. Miss Bayne was graduated from the Spence School with the class of `23, and is a member of the Junior League.

Mr. Blank was graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology with the class of '18. He is a member of the Delta Tau Delta Fraternity. During the World War he served as a Captain of artillery.
