Promoters Almost Ready to Start Work on Fountain

---

WASHINGTON, June 18---Work on the foundation for the fountain to be erected to the memory of Major Archibald W. Butt, Military Aid to President Taft, and Francis Millet, the artist, who lost their lives in the Titanic disaster, is to be begun in the immediate future.  This was announced to-day.  The site of the fountain will be immediately behind the White House grounds.  Impressive ceremonies will mark the memorial's dedication.

The fountain is the remembrance of friends of the two men from all over the United States.  The site was given by the Government through a special act of Congress.
