Mr. William Carbines

St. Ives Times & Express

Mr. William Carbines, 19, of Nanjivey, was the fourth son of Mr. Nicholas Carbines, and he sailed on the "Titanic" in order to join one of his three other brothers also in Michigan. Although he had been mining in this part of the county for some time the venture in America was his first. He is not reported saved. He was well known and much liked by a good many friends in St. Ives and district.
