Unidentified Newspaper

In a quiet ceremony attended by only the immediate members of the two families, Mrs. Edwina C. Petersen, 1021 Sixth St., Hermosa Beach, and James Corrigan, 323 Ave. C, Redondo Beach, were united in marriage Saturday, July 23.

Rev. Patrick McGuinness said the rites at 9 a.m. at the Church of the Nativity in Torrance, with Miss Theresa Umhoefer of San Francisco, a close friend of the bride, and the bridegroom's son in-law, Alex Herwer, as attendants.

Mrs. Petersen, who has lived in Hermosa Beach for many years and is well known here, chose a light blue ensemble for her marriage and carried a white prayer book.

The bridegroom, who resided with his daughter and son-in-law, is employed at Douglas Air Craft.

Following the nuptials a wedding breakfast was served at the bride's home.
