CRI English (2009) REMEMBERING THE TITANIC
Elizabeth Gladys "Millvina" Dean was just 9 weeks old when her mother carried her into a lifeboat, shortly before her father drowned in the dosaster 97 years ago.

Ahead of the April 14 anniversary of the disaster, Millvina attended the Titanic Convention in Southampton (April 4, 2009).

I know I wouldn't have been half as moved by the news of Millvina's death at a ripe old age had it not been for Cameron's Titanic.

Rochester City Newspaper (2009) REVIEW: "TITANIC: THE ARTIFACT EXHIBITION"
Ego, wealth, optimism, and opulence. RMS Titanic was the grandest symbol of all this and more. Branded as "practically unsinkable," the largest ship ever built in its time boasted a top first-class ticket price of more than $103,000 in today's currency. Filled with celebrities, dignitaries, tycoons, and immigrants, the Titanic set sail on April 10, 1912, from Southampton, UK, and sank on April 15, 1912, after hitting an iceberg during its maiden voyage.

EdinburghGuide.com TITANIC AND THE BAND PLAYED ON REVIEW
Although listed under Dance in the Fringe programme, this is not a dance performance per se, but more of a dramatised play with film, music and short dance sequences. This devised theatrical piece based on Titanic survivors' stories is performed by a group of six young dance and performing arts students.

Prince George Free Press (2007) TITANIC RELIC FROM THE DEEP
When you hold it, the nearly 100-year-old brass compass feels heavier than metal. You want to handle it gingerly, like glass. And respectfully, like an Egyptian tomb artifact.

The old navigational relic had laid undisturbed for decades in its watery grave on the floor of the Atlantic Ocean until rescue teams recovered it, along with thousands of other artifacts taken from the wreckage of the RMS Titanic.
