Every resource of wealth and power was expended in vain to-day to secure some word from the Carpathia of Mr. and Mrs. E. N. Kimball. Kimball is the head of the Hallett-Davis Piano Company of Boston, and theentire [sic] organization devoted every effort to securing some word from the rescue ship.
But not a single wireless flash could be forced from the Carpathia as to the fate of Kimball.
Mr. and Mrs. Kimball appeared in the list of survivors sent yeaterday, and it is believed they are the ones sought.
