The Lounge and Music Room aboard the Siboney and Orizaba were refreshingly airy and uncluttered and-particularly in the window treatment in the central well- prefigured Art Deco by half a decade. However, to a generation conditioned to associate elegance with period design and an overabundance of furniture, the liners appeared less than Deluxe.
