Partner Departed
The Times
Stockbroker Lost in the Titanic Disaster
It is observed with great regret in the Stock Exchange that the name of Mr Austin Partner is not among the list of those saved from the Titanic.
Mr Partner was making one of his annual visits to Canada, upon whose securities and investments he was a very high authority. He had made friends on both sides of the Atlantic, and his genial, unassuming and directly honest character earned for him general respect and popularity. It was as recently as the first of this month that he became, as announced in the Times, a partner in firm of Messrs Meyes and Robertson.
