An Exeter Passenger

Western Daily Mercury

Thursday 18 April 1912

It is also stated that Mr. Ralph Giles, son of Mr. and Mrs. Giles of Eaton-place, Exeter, was among the passengers.
Mrs. Giles has wired to the Head Office of the White Star Line in London, but has received no reply. Mrs Giles’s sister-in-law has also been busy requiring from several sources in London, but she too, has had no tidings of Mr. Giles.
Mr. Ralph Giles is a partner in a New York French millinery importing firm. He travelled a good deal in the course of his business, and had recently been to France, and was returning by the Titanic to America. He will be remembered by many in the City, as he was once employed in the firm of Messrs. Mortimer and Co., wholesale drapers, etc., of Exeter.
