Annie McGowan School Register

Annie McGowan attended Massbrook School in Addergoole Parish. She was one of fourteen people from the parish who boarded RMS Titanic in Steerage at Queenstown (now Cobh). Note the stark comment, probably by a teacher and written some years after the Titanic sank, "Gone to USA".
