C. E. H. Stengel, Titanic Survivor

C. E. Henry Stengel, member of the firm of Stengel & Rothschild, manufacturer of leather, died yesterday at his home 109 Lincoln Park, Newark, of pneumonia. He was one of the Titanic survivors. Mr. Stengel was 56 years old and was born in Newark. His father, G. Jacob Stengel, was one of Newark's pioneer leather manufacturers. Mr. Stengel started in the leather business with Abraham Rothschild about twenty years ago. He is survived by a widow, a daughter, Mrs. P. J. Horton, and two sons, Henry I. and Carl Raymond Stengel.
