Dr. Washington Dodge's condition was declared today to be still serious as a result of his attempt to end his life Saturday night when he shot himself through the head. While the bullet wound was comparatively insignificant, Dr. Dodge received a basal fracture of the skull in his fall to the cement floor of his garage where he shot himself.
It was the accepted theory today that Dr. Dodge attempted his life while worrying over the suit filed by Tilden Tognazzini and Charles F. Leege, involving his connection with the Poulsen Wireless Company. He believed this suit a reflection on his honor.
Mrs. Dodge was prostrated today because of her husband's act.
