In a little flat at 509 Willow avenue, Hoboken, John Moore is grieving
to-day over the loss of his nineteen year-old brother, Leonard, who was
one of the victims of the Titanic disaster.

The boy came to America last April and in January, when the building
trade, which he followed, was slack, he returned to his parent's [sic]
home in London. Some weeks ago his brother received information that
Leonard had booked to sail on the Titanic and for the last few days he
has been trying to ascertain whether the boy was really a passenger.
Confirmation of his fears was obtained at the White Star offices
yesterday, when his name appeared on the list of steerage passengers
lost in the wreck.
