Pook Family Information

Percy Robert Pook was born in Torquay, Devon in 1876. His birth being registered at Newton Abbot in the June Quarter of that year.
He was the son of Henry Pook (house decorator) and Kate (nee Manley) who had married at Torquay in early 1872.
Percy was one of 7 children, his siblings were Henry (b.1873), Annie (b.1874), Clara (b.1875), Florence (b.1877), Maud (b.1878) and Reginald (b.1880).
The 1881 census shows that the family were living at Park View in Torquay and by the time of the 1901 census the family had moved and were living in Plymouth where Percy, now aged 25 was shown to be a grocers assistant.
Ten years later Percy was living at 22 Chantry Road, Southampton.
