PHILADELPHIA, June 3---R. Norris Williams 2d, former national tennis champion and a survivor of the sinking of the Titanic, died yesterday in Bryn Mawr Hospital. He was 77 years old.
Mr. Williams, whose home was in nearby Wayne, played on seven United States Davis Cup teams and was the team captain from 1921 through 1925, and again in 1934.
Surviving are his widow, the former Sue W. Gillmore; three sons, Duane N., Richard N. 3d, and Quincy N.; and a daughter, Mrs. Charles S. Ganoe.
A funeral service will be held Wednesday in the chapel of Old St. David's Episcopal Church in Devon.
